"State of the Art: 30 Years of Innovation" is an exhibition of over one dozen curated new works of layered intaglio collage that have been featured in numerous galleries including MIT and the National Gallery in Washington, DC.

Save the date! Join us in the Good Art Co. printshop gallery for a fun and fascinating closing reception and artist talk with award-winning printmaker Deb Puretz on the subject of her solo exhibition, "State of the Art: 30 Years of Innovation."

We'll have free refreshments, good company, and live demos on the press showing how these complex and deeply meaningful prints came to life through layers of artistry and collaboration between Deb and master editioner, Shaun McCallum.

Natural Impact | A Works on Paper Eco-Exhibition

Juried by Good Art Co.'s own Shaun McCallum, this exhibition aims to celebrate formed fibers and all of their iterations.

Natural Impact: Works on Paper and Eco Exhibition invites artists to consider the multiple forms and functions of paper from the harvesting and processing of fibers to their application in a variety of media including: book arts, collage, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

A portion of all proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to benefit TreesUpstate and their work planting, protecting, and promoting trees in upstate South Carolina.

  • Good Art Co. curates a few "types" of shows to rotate through every year. We intentionally seek out shows or ideas that reflect our "4 C's"—exhibitions that focus on or promote: CURRENT (reflecting a trending topic we're seeing in the Upstate), CULTURE (reflecting something unique about an Upstate community), CAUSES (reflecting a nonprofit or charitable cause), and COMMUNITY (reflecting a local group or somehow lifting up a local group).

  • Good Art Co. handles everything: show installation, promotion, media and publicity, opening and closing receptions + food and drinks, sales and sales tax, packaging and de-installation, and more. The artist is responsible for dropping off and picking up work, although we can arrange help. Good Art Co. takes a commision of 30% for every sale within our gallery and shop; this directly funds our 501c3 free programming for the community.

  • MAY '24 | SYNAPTIC: An Art Experience Celebrating Neurodiversity

    SYNAPTIC was a visionary art event with a dual mission: to foster greater awareness and acceptance of neurodiversity and to generate financial support for The Meyer Center’s mission to empower children with physical and cognitive differences to reach their highest potential. It featured 16+ artists, raised 2K+ in funds for TMC, and was curated by Nicole Shannon of Create Potential.

  • MARCH-APRIL '24 | I'm Tryna Get Like YOU

    BLKMRKTCLT is an arts studio and collective based in Charlotte, NC that was created to give Black artists a safe space to create. Curated by artist Carla Aaron-Lopez, this exhibition is “a snapshot of the range of practices and skills the BLKMRKTCLT collective brings to table. We are Black and Southern. We are young and old. We move the needle of culture. Which is why you need to get like us.”

  • FEB '24 | My Rage is Like a Flower Garden

    Marcy Parks’ new solo show was called, “My Rage is Like a Flower Garden.” it featured explosive, emotive new works of art from the Bristol, TN-based artist and podcaster. Marcy’s work explores opposing yet sublimely complementary themes of beauty, healing, femininity and rage in bold, luscious paintings and prints.

  • NOV-DEC '23 | Collective Good

    “COLLECTIVE GOOD” was our first ever Good Art Co. Studio Artist group show featuring 14 incredible in-house studio artists, with a portion of gallery sales benefitting Harvest Hope Food Bank and families in need during the holiday season.

  • OCT '23 | Cloudscapes: The Auras I See

    "Cloudscapes" by Laura Cleary Williams was our very first exhibition. This body of work by Chattanooga-based artist and author Williams featured ephemeral, entrancing mixed-media pieces that explore her healing after an injury and how she started to perceive the world.

  • JUNE-JULY '24 | Wet Paint: Celebrating the Upstate's Waterways

    WET PAINT united 20+ talented local artists in presenting new works of art that celebrate the Upstate’s beautiful waterways, especially Connestee Nature Preserve, and raised awareness of why it is so important to protect and preserve this priceless natural resource.

  • SEPT-OCT '24 | RAICES de Quienes Somos

    In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, RAICES explored the vibrant Hispanic and Latinx cultures through art. The stunning exhibition featured a rich tapestry of work from Carla Henriquez, Jorge Rojas and Orlando Corona. It was hosted by the SC Hispanic Alliance.

  • SEP-OCT '24 | Figures & Faces

    FIGURES & FACES was our first mixed-media group exhibition featuring new works by local and regional artists making art around the theme of the human figure. A celebration of the myriad beautiful and painful ways we are born, we grow, we thrive, we become truly ourselves and embrace our bodies, and age gracefully, the show was a powerful testament to how incredible and inspiring the human body is in all of its forms.
