Natural Impact - Artist Submission
Welcome to Good Art Co.—we’re so excited you’re thinking of submitting to Natural Impact: The Upstate’s first-ever Works on Paper Eco-Exhibition! Please read this description carefully.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Juried by Good Art Co.'s own Shaun McCallum this exhibition aims to celebrate formed fibers and all of their iterations.
Natural Impact: Works on Paper and Eco Exhibition invites artists to consider the multiple forms and functions of paper from the harvesting and processing of fibers to their application in a variety of media including: book arts, collage, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
This exhibition is aimed toward artists who use paper in their work as fiber, pulp, or formed sheets. Additionally, the subject matter should relate to the substrate, including but not limited to, the paper's source, processing, or end product. This could include, but is not limited to the plant matter itself, the ecological impact, the process of paper making, or functional objects like books and stationary found in our daily lives.
A portion of all proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to benefit TreesUpstate and their work planting, protecting, and promoting trees in upstate South Carolina.
Non-refundable $5.00 entry fee | Limit 10 images per submission | Accepting submissions until midnight on February 16th
